CARE GUIDES
Practical care guidance for hobbyists receiving premium Bettas, Plecos, Tetras, flora, and rare collector fish from G AquaAura. Follow these steps to reduce stress, protect water quality, and help every new arrival settle beautifully.
Support available Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM IST via WhatsApp chat only.
FIRST 24 HOURS
The first day matters most. Keep lights low, avoid tapping the bag or tank, and let your fish adjust slowly before expecting active feeding or full color.
Inspect the package immediately after delivery. Keep the bag sealed while checking fish movement, water clarity, and temperature.
Float the sealed bag for 15-20 minutes. This equalizes temperature without suddenly changing the water chemistry around the fish.
Add small amounts of tank water every few minutes. Sensitive Plecos and imported varieties respond best to patient acclimation.
Release the fish gently and keep lights low for the rest of the day. Give hiding spots so the fish can settle naturally.
7 DAY SETTLING PLAN
No feeding unless the fish is already active and settled. Keep filtration running and lights low.
Offer a small meal. Remove uneaten food quickly so water quality remains clean.
Watch breathing, fins, color, and swimming posture. Stable behavior is more important than heavy feeding.
Resume a normal routine gradually. For rare Plecos, continue night feeding and provide driftwood or caves.
SPECIES CARE
Every species has a different comfort zone. Use these notes as a starting point, then message our team for exact guidance on your ordered fish.
Keep Bettas in stable warm water with gentle filtration, resting spots, and a high-protein diet offered in small portions.
L-number Plecos need hiding places, strong biological filtration, oxygen-rich water, and a balanced sinking diet.
Tetras and community fish show best color in groups, planted cover, clean water, and peaceful tankmate combinations.
